+- Why does my fan and light keep turning on by itself?

If you are having frequency interference issues with your Minka Aire fan, please review the troubleshooting section of your instruction manual. These are available on our website by searching the product model number on our PRODUCT SPECIFICATION SEARCH.


If this fails to correct the issue, you may fill out the SUBMIT A QUESTION form with the item number and description of your issue and we will do our best to provide with a response in a timely manner.



+- My fan sounds noisy.

Please allow a 24-hour "break in" period. Most noises associated with a new fan will go away during this time.


1. Make sure the screws that attach the fan blade holder to the motor hub are tight.


2. Make sure outlet box is secured to building structure, if necessary use wood screws provided to further secure the outlet box to the joist.


3. Make sure the hanger bracket is secure to the outlet box and screws are tight.
